7th H1N1 Case: Four-Year-Old Girl Infected

Bandar Seri Begawan - Brunei has received its seventh case of the Influenza A (H1N1) infection involving a four-year-old girl who returned from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on June 19.

According to a press release by the Ministry of Health yesterday, the four-year-old was on holiday with her family since June 15. She developed symptoms only on June 22, three days after returning to Brunei.

All of her contacts had been traced and are currently under quarantine by the ministry.

The patient, along with the other six confirmed cases, are all in good condition and still undergoing treatment at the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital in Tutong.
